Landon’s nursery :)

🙂 thought I’d follow suit to a lot of other bloggers and share some of the spaces that our family lives in. We’re blessed to have a house that can accommodate a playroom and bedrooms for the kids. So that’s a whole lot of decorating that I get to fulfil! The playroom hasn’t been decorated just yet it’s just filled with toys galore! We will however get some wall decor going and paint etc.

My little guy’s bedroom however is a soft spot of mine. I knew I didn’t want to have a typical baby nursery. I wanted something adaptable for when he’s a toddler and that we could build upon! So I opted for a nautical theme! At first I thought It would be quite hard to get lots of matching bits but from various different stores but we definitely have found more than we needed!

These are just a few of my favourite little bits of his room. 🙂

The door sign is from a gorgeous little store near me selling vintage and kitsch inspired homewares.

The name letters on his door come from JoJo Maman Bebe

The napping door sign was a gift from a friend but the brand is “the bright side” they don’t have a website of their own but many cute card stores stock them.

The boat rocker is an old find from Mamas and Papas but isn’t stocked anymore.

The floor rug is from JoJo Maman Bebe for £59.00.

The striped blind is a blackout blind perfect for the room! It’s from Hilary’s Blinds and is available to measure size. Ours was around £150 but it’s all dependent on the window size.

Laura Ashley has to be one of my favourite for home goods and interior design. The wallpaper is now on sale from £25.00 per roll to £17.00 a roll! And it’s award winning! The matching lampshade is now reduced to £28.00 from £40.00!! Man everything’s on sale when you have finished decorating! So typical!

The pictures were a find from primark! Bargain! 🙂 the border wallpaper is another JoJo find! 🙂 totally a fave baby shop of ours! And the other nautical accessories are from my mother in laws store, it’s called star-video in a small seaside village, they used to rent out videos primarily but now it’s more of a mixed paraphernalia store with a bit of everything.

The furniture set is a nursery collection called Rialto from Mamas and Papas. The set often comes up in a package deal where you can get all three pieces, the wardrobe, the changing unit/drawers and the cotbed, without mattress for £549.00.

The toddler bedding set, yes toddler 😦 no longer baby, is from John Lewis here for £35.00

It took me a while to get everything all together! And I am still looking for bits and pieces to this day to complete it. But it’s mostly done and Landon loves pointing out all the little bits and pieces he knows the word boat so well now he loves pointing at all the boats in his room. I quite like having a non typical nursery for my little guy. Now it’s full steam ahead on completing and decorating all of little baby W’s
