Wyatt’s First Squiggles and Giggles

Well Mr Landon has definitely missed his squiggles and giggles sessions for the past three weeks. However it was closed for two weeks so we don’t feel like we have missed too much!

Today was a gorgeous day so we were enjoying the sun again and had plenty of play outside. And even better is that daddy could join us! 🙂

Wyatt was even awake for a lot of the session lapping up the attention and enjoying snuggles.

A little bit of sun goes a long way!

This weekend has been quite delightful! A few of the things that have been on my planner for the last month,

1. The JoJo Maman Bebe 20th birthday celebrations.

The event ran from the 17th until today where stores around the country participated in various celebratory events. My local store was fab! Free balloons! Free snacks for the kids! A free magnet set worth £5.00 otherwise and a lucky dip discount. Where at the till I received the chance to “dip” into a pot with discount cards between 10% and 50% and it would come off my total spend. My discount was 20% so I really couldn’t complain! 🙂 a very very happy customer indeed. I love the things in this store they’re so quirky and individual. It really is one of the best places to find children’s paraphernalia that isn’t found other places!

On Saturdays visit I purchased some gorgeous baby havianas for my eldest, 13 months and a pair of beaba sunglasses for the new arrival for our holiday in July! And all with 20% off!

2. A wedding fayre at a shop called “Kath Truman” in the quaint little town of Morpeth, Northumberland.

This was a fab opportunity and it hit on such a gorgeous day! However I was rather disappointed there was a lot less going on than I would expect at a wedding fayre. Free glass of champagne though! So can’t really complain. The goodie bag consisted of only a few pamphlets on the services from the wedding shop. It was a bit of a shame, although there was a fashion show that I missed, hopefully that made the occasion a tad funner! I’m sure it generated a good amount of crowd and traffic into the store regardless.

3. The twice as nice baby sale through at West Moor community centre.

Twice as Nice

This was a well advertised new and used baby sale which I had seen posted everywhere! I had expected it to be much larger and I didn’t come away with anything other than my goodie bag, the entrance was £1.00 per customer which was fair. You registered to hear about other sales and came away with a great goodie bag if nothing else! Today I didn’t need anything or see anything that caught my eye as there was a lot of Girly things and toys and I’m not keen on second hand baby clothes. It was a great turnout I feel they may have found the room a bit small for the amount that were to show up. It was great to see a sale in action as setting up a table of our own may be on the agenda next!

This was my goodie bag!

In addition to my planned events of the weekend we also got to head to the beach! 15 degrees what a luxury! Mind you coats stayed firmly in place but little guy loved having open terrain to muster under his belt.
